These terms apply to your use of laxmidiyawala.com and to every order placed on it. The website is run by Laxmi Decorative Diya's Creation ("Laxmi Diyawala", "we", "us"), House No. 50, Station Road, behind BSNL Office, near Indian Gas, Majhwa Tarash, Chunar, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh 231304, India. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our shipping policy, returns and refunds policy and privacy policy.

1. Using the website

• You must be 18 or older to place an order, or order with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• Please give true and complete details, especially your name, phone number and delivery address. We cannot be responsible for a delivery that fails because of a wrong address.
• Do not misuse the website: no attempts to break its security, no automated scraping or bulk submissions, no false orders, reviews or enquiries.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password and tell us straight away.

3. Our products

• Our pieces are made by hand from natural clay. Small differences in colour, size, shape and painted detail from the photographs are part of handmade work, and are not defects.
• Sizes and capacities are approximate.
• Unglazed cookware must be seasoned before first use, and clay water pots should be cleaned as described on the product page or in our FAQs. Clay is breakable: handle it with care and keep it away from sudden changes in temperature.
• Some pieces are sold only in sets or minimum quantities. The product page shows the minimum, and the price shown is per piece unless it says otherwise.

4. Prices

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• The delivery charge is shown separately in your cart and at checkout, before you pay.
• We check prices carefully, but mistakes can happen. If a product was listed at a clearly wrong price, we will contact you before dispatch and you may either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
• Sale prices and coupons apply only for the period and under the conditions shown with them. Only one coupon can be used per order unless stated otherwise.

5. Orders

• When you place an order, we send you a confirmation with your order number. The contract between us is formed when we confirm your order.
• We may decline or cancel an order: if a piece is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to the address, if the price was wrong, or if we suspect fraud or misuse. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.

6. Payment

• Cash on delivery: available on most PIN codes and order values, as shown at checkout. Please keep the exact amount ready. Repeatedly refusing cash-on-delivery parcels may lead us to ask for online payment on future orders.
• Online payment: when offered, it is processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or banking credentials.

7. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates, and can be affected by the courier, the weather, festivals and other things outside our control. Ownership of the goods, and the risk of damage, pass to you on delivery.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You can cancel an order at any time before it is dispatched. Returns and refunds are covered by our returns and refunds policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Bulk and trade orders

These extra terms apply to orders placed through our bulk order page, by phone or on WhatsApp for trade quantities:

• Quotation: we send you a written quotation. It holds for the period stated on it, which is normally 15 days. After that, prices and availability may change.
• Prices: unless the quotation says otherwise, bulk prices are ex-works (from our workshop in Chunar) and GST is charged in addition. A GST tax invoice is issued, carrying your GSTIN if you give it to us.
• Advance: production starts once the advance shown on the quotation is received, normally 50% of the order value. The balance is due before dispatch or on delivery, as the quotation states.
• Freight: freight and packing are charged as shown on the quotation. Goods travel at the buyer's risk once they have been handed to the transporter. Please check the consignment on arrival, and report any transit damage within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, so a claim can be made.
• Handmade variation: in large quantities, pieces vary slightly in size and colour. This is normal and not a reason for rejection.
• Cancellation: once production has started, the advance covers work already done and may not be refundable in full. We will tell you what can be refunded at that point.

10. Reviews and content you send us

If you post a review or send us photos, you confirm they are your own and honest, and you allow us to show them on our website and social media pages. We check reviews before publishing, and may decline those that are abusive, off-topic, contain personal details or are not about the product.

11. Our content

The photographs, designs, text and logo on this website belong to Laxmi Decorative Diya's Creation. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy our photographs or content for commercial use without our written permission.

12. Our responsibility to you

• We are responsible for supplying products as described and for putting right any fault covered by our returns policy.
• We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for damage caused by misuse of a product, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as strikes, severe weather, natural disasters or courier disruption.
• Except where the law does not allow it, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved with a phone call. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
