We send you a written quotation, which normally holds for 15 days. Production starts once the advance shown on it is received, normally half the order value. The balance is due before dispatch or on delivery, as the quotation states. A GST tax invoice is issued with your GSTIN.

Add the pieces you want to your cart and go to checkout. You can check out as a guest or sign in, enter your delivery address and choose how to pay. You will get an order number straight away, and an email confirmation if you gave us your email address.

Cash on delivery is available on most PIN codes: checkout tells you if it is not available for your address or order value. When online payment is offered at checkout, you can pay by card, UPI or net banking through our secure payment partner, Razorpay.

Some pieces, such as small diyas, are sold only in sets or minimum quantities. The product page shows the minimum and the price per piece, and the cart sets the quantity to at least that number.

Yes, at any time before it is dispatched. Open the order under My account and choose Cancel order, or call or WhatsApp us on +91 99246 99513. If you paid online, we refund the full amount. Once dispatched, an order can no longer be cancelled.

No, you can check out as a guest. An account lets you see your orders, save addresses and request returns online.

Yes. Every piece is shaped, fired and painted by hand in our workshop in Chunar, so small differences in shade, size and pattern from the photographs are natural. They are the mark of handwork, not a fault.

Soak the pot and its lid in water for 8 to 12 hours, then let it dry completely. Rub the inside with a little cooking oil, and heat it on a low flame for the first few uses. Always start on a low flame and raise it slowly: sudden heat can crack clay.

Wash by hand with warm water and a soft scrubber. Use a little baking soda or salt rather than soap, which the clay can absorb. Let it dry completely before storing, and never pour cold water into a hot pot.

Rinse it well and fill it with water for a day before first use, then throw that water away. Keep it in a shaded, airy place: it cools the water by slow evaporation through the clay, so a little moisture on the outside is normal. Rinse and air-dry it once a week.

Take photos of the piece and the packing before you throw anything away. Then request a return from the order under My account within 7 days of delivery, or send the photos to us on WhatsApp (+91 99246 99513) with your order number. We will replace the piece or refund you, and cover the cost of any return.

We can only accept returns of pieces that arrived broken, faulty or wrong, within 7 days of delivery. Clay is heavy and fragile and does not survive a second journey well, so we cannot take back undamaged pieces because of a change of mind.

Online payments are refunded to the same card, UPI or bank account. Once we approve the refund, your bank usually takes 5 to 7 working days to show it. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer or UPI, and we send you the transaction reference.

Yes. We send every order from our workshop in Chunar, Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh) to PIN codes all over India. Checkout confirms that we can deliver to your PIN code before you place the order.

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days, and delivered 3 to 7 days after that, depending on your location. Around Diwali and other festivals it can take a little longer.

Delivery is charged on every order. The charge depends on where it is going, and on its weight for heavier orders, and is shown in your cart and at checkout before you pay.
